Rafter Alignment - "Draw-in"

This is the contraption I used to draw the rafters in towards one another so they would align with the (5) "A" legs for an even roof line.  I borrowed the excellent, ratcheting 'come-along' from a neighbor, some great marine-grade nylon rope, and a couple sections of 4x4.  I set the 4x4's on temporary nails, used the 'come-along' to take up the slack, then nailed a section of 2x6 above each 4x4 to keep them from sliding up the rafters.  It was a very effective method, especially with just one guy running the operation.
